
Sr. Technical Program Manager - IAM and Compliance

Technical Program Managers (TPM) play a meaningful role within Salesforce Security. They lead large-scale, cross-functional security initiatives passionate about developing, protecting and maintaining our customers’ trust. TPMs are fundamental for seeing programs through from beginning to end, ensuring efficient workflows, driving to measurable results and facilitating through effective communication. They work closely with executives and key company collaborators to drive critical programs and activities across the company to deliver meaningful business results. In short, the TPM brings together teams, organizes efforts and drives execution to continuously increase our security posture.
We are seeking an individual that is passionate about security and compliance, a creative problem solver and a change agent who seeks out roadblocks or tough organizational issues, views them as an opportunity and drives resolution.
Responsibilities
Take ownership and accountability of technical program planning and delivery for programs in Identity and Access, using demonstrated strong analytical and technical skills.
Develop positive relationships with key technology and functional collaborators to drive focus on the strategic program objectives and optimize delivery. This includes supporting and holding resources accountable for their responsibilities within the program.
Partner with risk management and internal audit teams to deliver tools that meet compliance requirements. Drive requirements, planning and implementation that builds compliance into our processes and tools from the beginning. Drive onboarding to IAM tools. Coordinate audit readiness within IAM span of control.
Apply agile methodologies and product development lifecycle to successfully partner with product and engineering organizations. Collaborate with senior managers and engineers to architect and develop the best technical and operational design and approach, delivering value quickly to customers.
Initiate programs and build alignment on program planning. Bring teams together to define the business objectives, program structures, and cross-functional support vital to succeed.
Translate business objectives into execution strategy (tactical and strategic), lead and successfully execute the strategy through strong collaboration and agile leadership.
Lead regular review meetings with key partners. Provide transparent updates, help drive key decisions, pro-actively remove obstacles, lead dependencies across teams, identify risks and address key program issues.
Provide regular access to program status (key decisions, dependencies, issues, risks, metrics, etc.) through push status reporting to all partners. Ensure data is collected to appropriately advise decision-making for mitigating risks and resolving issues.
Use internal tools and agile approach to build a collaborative environment that fosters autonomy, transparency, mastery, innovation, and learning; promotes continuous improvement.
Commit to clarity to keep teams moving forward, ensure business objectives are met and each program delivers on its commitments.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical degree required.
6+ years of experience working in the field of computer security and risk management or 8+ years of enterprise software/technical program management experience at an enterprise technology company.
Knowledge and experience with risk and compliance management and SOX/SOC compliance.
Knowledge and be willing to learn relevant IAM and security technologies, have understanding of Zero Trust approach.
Outstanding record of sophisticated program management with a record of success in achieving key business outcomes.
Prior experience leading programs in Identity and Access including compliance.
Proven use of professional, repeatable methodology for initiation, work breakdown, scheduling, reporting, risk and change management.
Skilled in risk management. Can perform business and project risk analysis to make sophisticated business/risk trade-off recommendations and decisions.
Preferred qualifications:
Project Management Certification – PMP.
Agile Certification.
Ability to understand a wide array of technical subjects and technologies relevant to the program.
Proven passion for understanding ambiguous, sophisticated problems and driving high-quality, innovative, and robust technical solutions.
Experience with crafting detailed reporting and dashboards.
Experience working with large data sets to lead changes in long term trends.
Benefits & compensation
Est: $100,000-180,000/yr
